After 7 years of traditional HR and Business Consulting and Services, Humanity HR Consulting has pivoted. Rather than performing HR and Operations functions for our clients, we are now focused heavily on teaching our clients to do it for themselves.

Change happens from within the organization, and through years of experience, we have learned that the best path to internal organizational change is to educate the leaders to make the impact themselves.

Led by Certified Executive Performance Coach and Certified Human Resources Professional Kayla Bartel, Humanity HR Consulting is a safe space for leaders who want to drive an organization focused on continuous improvement and cultural health.

Meet Kayla Bartel, PHR-CA – Chief Executive Officer Wonderful Workplace Wizard

As a California Certified HR Professional (PHR-CA) with 20 years of corporate experience and consulting for PEO clients; striking out on her own was a dream realized for Kayla.  With experience in varying industries including hospitality, food & beverage, environmental, tech, aerospace, non-profits and beyond, she learned the most important thing in business are the relationships that develop and thrive. Building long lasting relationships with her clients is what she loves the most about her role at Humanity HR.

In her spare time, Kayla enjoys living in Southern California with her son and Goldendoodle. Friday night lights flag football, hikes, riding Peloton, beach days, brunch on Sundays and networking with likeminded business owners in the area fuel Kayla’s passion.

Meet Andrea Pantoja, SPHR – Head of HR Consulting and Expert in Classifications, Benefits and Payroll.

Andrea is a Senior certified HR Professional (SPHR) with experience ranging from building HR departments from the ground up for small businesses to leading HR teams for larger organizations.
Industries Andrea has supported include; nonprofit, tech, public relations, Employer of Records (EOR), Professional Employer Organizations (PEO), staffing agencies and government employers. My experience includes co-founding Humanity HR Consulting where she specializes in providing HR consulting to small to medium sized businesses and mentoring, leading and developing the technical capabilities of other HR professionals.

Meet Lauren Stoltzfus – Head of Staffing and Tech Industry Specialist

As a seasoned recruiter with a knack for filling highly specialized tech roles, Lauren is the matchmaker who bridges the gap between talent and opportunity. With a career spanning over five years in the staffing industry, she has honed her skills to become an expert at sourcing top-tier professionals, particularly in the industries of aerospace, robotics, IT, engineering.

In her current role, Lauren has found her true calling, building strong partnerships with teams to discern their unique needs and ensuring a harmonious match in terms of technical prowess and cultural alignment. It’s not just about filling roles; it’s about nurturing relationships that power innovation and growth.

Victoria is a highly professional, well-rounded and seasoned HR Consultant with experience and passion for employee engagement and organizational success. With her undergrad in Psychology and her masters in HR management she enjoys the ability to bring the humanity back into Human Resources. Victoria joined Humanity HR Consulting in 2020 and has impacted our client’s growth substantially by sourcing highly sought after talent and improving employee retention. 
When she is not working, you can catch her outside spending the day on the water or cheering her kids on with their sports.

Patricia Vasquez is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 15 years of experience across diverse industries, specializing in Manufacturing. As a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), she has honed her expertise in navigating the intricacies of employment laws and ensuring compliance within organizations.

For the past six years, Patricia has served as a Human Resources Consultant with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). In this role, she has been instrumental in assisting businesses in various sectors in effectively managing their HR needs while fostering strong relationships.

Zoe King – HR Consultant

Zoe is a passionate and results-oriented HR consultant with 7 years of experience in building and supporting high-performing teams. A certified HR Professional (CIPD), Zoe started her career in-house, building the HR function from the ground up in start-ups before switching to a consultant role where she now hones her skills providing expert HR advice, support and solutions to organizations of all shapes and sizes. 

Throughout her career, she has crafted expertise in various HR functions, including recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and benefits administration. Whatever an organization’s need, it is the combination of her strong analytical skills and unwavering commitment to fostering a positive work environment that prove invaluable to a company’s success.

Outside of work, Zoe can normally be found on a court: volleyball, netball, pickleball – it doesn’t really matter!
